Service Description

Learn to Race is a great way to get comfortable with open water swimming while learning the aspects and skills of racing. The targeted learning outcomes include safety protocols, water comfort, navigation, emergency response, racing strategies, and more! Swimmers will learn not only how to race, but how to be safe and comfortable while open-water swimming. This program is suitable for swimmers aged 12 - 17 with a background in swimming. All swimmers must be able to swim 400m consistently in a pool. Swimmers will have to purchase a nonrefundable $60 one-year Triathlon Ontario membership, a link will be sent after registration.
